Next Lunch  -  Wednesday 11 March 2026

 Guest Speaker  -  Rory Lawson

Everyone reading this will be familiar with our next guest speaker.  Rory Lawson is a former Scottish international scrum half and captain.  He is currently an entertaining BBC pundit and, outwith rugby, is a successful motivational speaker.  Famously, he is the grandson of the late, great Bill McLaren!  What's not to look forward to?

Already we know there is going another good crowd at this event so it would be wise to book early!

Usual Venue  -  Loks Bar and Restaurant at 11.30 for 12.30

                Welcome
               to the GROGS website

Here you’ll be able to learn everything you’ve always wanted to know about the Glasgow Rugby Old Geezers Society but were afraid to ask!
                                   .....................

The GROGS is a Club for Glasgow rugby's "senior" fraternity, which meets for lunch, and a drink perhaps, on the 2nd Wednesday of each month during the rugby season (Sept to Apr) to listen to guest speakers, meet old friends and indulge in some pleasant nostalgia.  The Lunch meetings are held at Loks Restaurant, Newlandsfield Road, Glasgow G43 2XU
All registered members will receive an e-mail reminder some time before each Lunch asking about their attendance intentions.  Anyone who doesn't receive these e-mails, or feels we don't have your correct e-mail address, should contact Brian Rigby at [email protected]
